So here's the deal - STi rear dampers tend to wear out the grease in a small area, and without greasing the dampers on a regular basis they will stick, and then eventually blow. This leads to the famous strut clunk on the STi.

Here's more of the deal - A fixed perch strut setup is huge money for most people, and frankly, all they need is the rear dampers.

SO! Here's what we did! We made some phone calls, did some research, and found some brave victims to try this out. The end result is a package that has the following:

• Two Tokico D-spec rear dampers - they are adjustable which is nice for the HUGE variety of springs out there. They have a nice amount of travel, andare NOT inverted.
• Two Scooby921 Strut spacers - they allow the D-specs to mate up to your 04-07 style rear top hat.
• Two adjustment extenders - they allow you to adjust the damping rate without having to remove the rear seat (if you have kids you have a car seat, and KNOW what a pain this can be)
• Two new bump stops - your stockers won't work here so you'll need new ones.
